Ballroom Dancing:
One of the first things you'll notice about our facility is the beautiful hardwood flooring- but its looks are only part of its charm. Memories was built by Leo Weiler during the Big Band era as a world class dance hall, and much consideration was given to the floor itself. The dance floor is 2400 square feet of suspended hardwood maple. The fact that it is a suspended dance floor means there is no fatigue factor on the legs as one would experience from a hard surface. All dancers comment on the difference this makes in being able to enjoy dancing.
Whether a skilled professional or a beginner looking to try out some new moves, you will undoubtedly appreciate the beauty and comfort of our dance floor, one of the best in the Midwest.
Do you have a dance club or large group looking for a unique venue for dances? Not only does Memories provide a warm, cozy ambiance but is also capable of providing savory meals for dinner dances.
Any groups looking to book a private ballroom dance are invited to contact Memories directly at (262) 284-6850.
January 11, 1959, I met my husband at
Weiler’s Log Cabin Ballroom. He was out
with his boyfriend an I was out with my
girlfriend. We celebrated our 47th
Wedding Anniversary this past June 24th.
Now my husband and I are enjoying the
Dinner Theater, and also the Great
Chicken Comedies. It would be nice if we
are both here in 2011 to celebrate our
50th here at Memories. Thank you for the Great Memories! Gene &
Judy P.
